OUR STORY

SoloKool was founded in Houston Texas by two brothers with a passion for the outdoors and the belief that the brutal summer heat shouldn’t hold you back. From swamp coolers spraying  wet air to clunky coolers with radiators that melted ice too fast, none worked to their satisfaction. Out of frustration, the two brothers built their own portable AC device and cooler. They came up with their own proprietary Kold Plate™ heat exchanger that allows for ice to last longer and does not require the use of a power draining water pump, with enough insulation to keep ice for days as cooler.
